The Board of Directors of Vividés Ltd. included Dr. Malcolm Linsell and his former wife Fiona Linsell. When you have a director who is a shareholder as well as the representative of a large number of shareholders it is not a simple task to work with them when they demonstrate highly irregular, socially unacceptable behavior and are guilty of misconduct. In most companies, if a regular employee behaved like this they would be instantly dismissed. Not so easy in senior management.
The board invested significant amounts of time to work with, support and manage Dr. Malcolm Linsell’s odd behavior including referring him to a Psychiatrist for professional treatment.
The reference to Goldzone in this email refers to Goldzone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. an exclusive licensee of Goldzone Corporation. At the time they used the Goldzone name under license. The company name was changed to Vividés Ltd. when the license and rights to use the Goldzone name expired.
During this period Dr. Linsell continued to practice Plastic Surgery, while his investment in Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. languished.
As you will read in his own words below, he wanted “to be the star and get sex and money from people.” What? Seriously? How would one’s wife and colleagues feel about a director, father, and husband who behaves entitled like that? You will note that lots of promises to change are always forthcoming.
The behavior exhibited here is covered by the terms and conditions of the Master License Agreement and are grounds for termination of the license.

Here we have a very nice email from Dr. Malcolm Linsell to a client. You will note that his title was Managing Director of Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. (formerly known as Goldzone Australia Pty. Ltd. under license).
Dr. Linsell states that moving to Singapore for one year to accelerate his Australian business was his and his former wife Fiona Linsell’s idea.

Greed, self-interest, and low ethics are just a few of what Dr. Malcolm Linsell has admitted to and apologized for. It isn’t about what we consider to be ethics, but rather what most people would agree are socially acceptable standards of conduct and honesty expected of the Executive Chairman and Managing Director.
It upsets us that this type of behavior costs everyone and in this case led to the loss of more than $10 million, jobs, and the life savings of many people.
AN OPEN LETTER TO DR. MALCOLM LINSELL
Dear Dr. Malcolm Linsell,
I am heartbroken by the bankruptcy, loss of jobs, and loss of tens of millions of dollars by people and companies in Australia and Singapore who trusted in you. This is an unacceptable and tragic failing of leadership. In your role as Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. and as the company’s largest individual shareholder, you were responsible for the success or failure of the company.
You created the company’s Australian business plan, negotiated various license agreements, committed the company to projects, managed the finances, and worked with investors to fund your projects.
At the same time, you were the Executive Chairman, and shareholder of the company’s largest corporate shareholder, Singapore-based Vividés Ltd. Your former wife, Fiona Linsell was the Managing Director. Under your leadership, both companies have failed, with Vividés Ltd. wound up by a creditor and the local Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. voluntarily liquidated by yourself after trading while insolvent for several years.
As you will recall, you were notified by several people about insolvent trading and acknowledged it in writing on March 7, 2013. At the time, you had many options to solve the company’s liquidity issues, however, you refused to do anything about it and continued with the same failing management practices.
You ignored advice from your consultants and advisors to focus on more than just financing. Not only that, you had promised your investors that the company was actively generating revenues from sales. Clearly, this was not true.
Dr. Linsell, as the leader of the company it is your responsibility to discharge your duties in the best interest of the shareholders. Clearly, you didn’t.
As you know, I along with many colleagues, your former wife, and family encouraged you to continue in Plastic Surgery. You countered us all by stating that you hated it, hated the smell of surgery, wanted to quit and never go back. You said you were tired of working with your hands and wanted more leverage and more money.
You are well aware that Anjou MacPherson was and I remain, pro-relationship, promote and live wholesome family values, personal responsibility, honesty, and sincerity.
In my opinion, you could have continued your corporate responsibility to Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd., and Vividés Ltd., made good on promises you made to your fellow directors, investors, and stakeholders, while at the same time continued your Plastic Surgical work and been responsible for your personal finances. Alternatively, you could have handed over your corporate responsibilities to a more qualified professional and simply continued Plastic Surgery. I personally advised you many times to appoint a competent business leader or leaders for both companies with a proven track-record to manage the business, while you could have focused on your strengths (you have many). You refused. Instead, you chose to trade for years while insolvent, then filed for Voluntary Liquidation with the total loss of everything by everyone.
Clearly, you were not suited to the often challenging business of entrepreneurship, corporate leadership and owning one’s results whatever they may be. More than 300 people lost their investment, life savings, and jobs. Now, you are attempting to deflect the blame onto others for your lack of ethics, personal failings, business failings, and previous wife who had affairs and left you for another man.
Your accusation that you were involved with a Commercial Cult are preposterous and strenuously denied. You ran your own business and if anyone were operating a Commercial Cult it would be the leader, which would be you as Executive Chairman! It is not us who did not live up to your ethical standards, but the other way around. By your own admission, you have been grossly unethical and are at risk of criminal prosecution. You sent myself, your colleagues and others numerous emails over the years acknowledging your misconduct.
Please be advised that we will aggressively defend against your false accusations by publishing the facts and allowing the Public and Government Authorities to decide for themselves.
I wish you well with your Surgical Practice and hope that you will reconsider your chosen course of blame, and deflecting responsibility.

Dr. Malcolm Linsell was Executive Chairman and shareholder of both companies and his previous wife, Fiona Linsell was also Finance Director of both companies and Managing Director of Vividés Ltd.
Please refer to Item F, on Page 2, which states that the value of other assets was $25,000. This is referring to the realizable value of Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. How did the book value of $850,000 go down to $25,000? Is this what Dr. Malcolm Linsell has been advising investors when making private offers to them or was the value of the company represented in the millions?
What is the official explanation for this discrepancy in value? Was the true value of the company misrepresented to Australian investors or misrepresented to the Singapore Government?

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this website happen. Countering abusive leaders who create havoc, lie about their results then use sophisticated techniques to deflect the blame onto innocent third parties has been a passion of mine for 25 years.
There is so much abuse of trust in positions of power that it is easy to be skeptical of any leadership. Narcissists dominate our political, religious and business lives. These public positions attract people who are drawn to power and wish to dominate others, all the while claiming to be wanting to make a difference, add value or contribute.
It can be very difficult learning to deal with Narcissists and the toxic abuse they will hurl at anyone who stands up to them or exposes their games and tactics to others. Then there are those who are blind and cannot see them even if their rampant corruption and deceit are obvious.
Why is this important? Because innocent people fall victim to their charms, lives are destroyed, life savings are lost. I don’t know about you, but $5 million dollars is a lot of money to lose.
I first met Dr. Malcolm Linsell in 2003 while in Fiji with Anjou MacPherson and a doctor and her husband who were going through a difficult divorce. Anjou and I were meeting with them at Lomalangi Resort to facilitate an amicable separation of their personal and financial lives.
We explored the possibility of a reconciliation, however, in the end, this couple divorced and thanks to our help everything was amicable. The four of us spent most of our time locked in discussion in a private villa and despite resort policy to eat in the communal dining room, talked the owner into delivering our food to the villa along with extra orders of pancakes. The chef made great tasting pancakes, but they were very small. We ordered extra!
Dr. Malcolm Linsell, his wife Fiona Linsell, and another couple from Perth were in Fiji for a Tony Robbins Platinum Partners event that got canceled, and they were hanging out at Lomalangi Resort. On the day that Anjou and I were leaving, we went to the communal dining room to wait for our transport when Dr. Malcolm Linsell came up to introduce himself and ask what we do. Apparently, he had asked the owner of the resort who the mysterious two couples locked away eating private meals in the villa were and what they were doing. I didn’t say much, as was often our custom, Anjou answered his questions.
It turns out that Dr. Linsell was jealous of why we could eat privately in our villa, and on top of that receive an extra order of pancakes! This is how the discussions with the resort owner started. Little did I know at the time how big a part jealousy would become a major issue in our future relationship.
Dr. Malcolm Linsell and his friend wanted to know more about what we did, so they followed us to Sydney where we met at what was the Ritz-Carlton, Double Bay (now an Intercontinental Hotel.) We shared openly about our various projects, particularly the OPTIMA Zones of Human Behaviour & Peak Performance. They both loved what we were doing and expressed that they were aligned and very interested in our various projects. The next time we met Dr. Malolm Linsell and his friend was shortly after in Noosa, Queensland at what was the Sheraton Noosa (now a Sofitel Hotel.)
Dr. Malcolm Linsell, his wife Fiona Linsell, and another couple from Perth all decided to join our Leaders’ Forum and attend in person at the Sheraton Grande Laguna Resort (now the Angsana Laguna Phuket) in Phuket Thailand, on August 8 to 15, 2003.
The next time we met was at the following Leaders’ Forum, January 11 to 16, 2004, this time at the Sheraton Princeville Resort (now the St. Regis Princeville) on the island of Kaui, Hawaiian Islands, USA.
It was there on Kaui that Dr. Malcolm Linsell informed us that he, his wife Fiona and his two friends wanted to license our products and services in the territory of Australia on an exclusive basis. We negotiated a five-year, renewable exclusive license to distribute, promote, and produce Goldzone programs, products and services in the territory of Australia for a 5 year period for licensing fees of US$500,000.
What happened next will be the subject of my next post.
Since Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. was placed into Voluntary Administration by Dr. Malcolm Linsell, the Companies largest personal shareholder, Executive Chairman, and Managing Director, he has alleged publicly that he was involved in a Commercial Cult. This is an outright lie, promoted by Dr. Malcolm Linsell to place the blame for his misconduct, low ethical standards and two company failures onto someone else.
This is a classic case of deflection.

When we first heard that Dr. Malcolm Linsell was involved in a Commercial Cult, we were immediately surprised. No, no, no, maybe, no way, what the heck is a Commercial Cult anyway? Is that like Apple, where fans of Apple products like iPhone queue up for hours and rave about them like they are obsessed or something?
Or is it like the Nike Sports Cult? Where they try to get you signed up to the cult of wearing their clothes and making money off you?
Perhaps it is the Network Marketing variety where they pressure you into joining then, manipulate you into buying stock and keeping it in your garage to sell later, only to find it never sells and you end up giving it away (sometimes can’t give it away as no one wants it).
Then there are the Get Rich Quick Seminars, offering fast riches if you follow the leader and do what they do. Typically these involve buying and selling real estate, stocks, options, or automated trading software. The leaders promise fast riches if you do exactly what they did, and if you fail, then you didn’t apply their formula the same way they did. You are made wrong and told you are a loser, as anyone can do it. The truth, is many of these schemes are a fraud. The leaders may be succeeded once or twice or not at all. Most of their money comes from selling the information, or from seminar fees.
There are thousands of Personal Development companies offering Get Spiritual Quick seminars. Or rah-rah success seminars. Using manipulative techniques such as suggestopedia, NLP, visualizations, meditations, chants, and on and on. Not all these techniques are bad, they are just misused in unethical hands. Hard sales techniques start early, promise the moon, and continue endlessly until you either tell them to stop, you leave or they succeed in selling you. Past seminar attendees are recruited to return to volunteer for free and to recruit other people into the programs. High-pressure sales and manipulation are relentless. They set you up to cry over your poor childhood experiences, make you wrong if you don’t cry, and then force you to hug everyone!
They even go so far as to get you into a weekend seminar, spend all weekend selling you on the next seminar or books, tapes, services, put you into a visualization to soften you up and then bam, right after you are feeling warm and fuzzy, hit you with a sale. We are talking about a complete lack of ethics.
Spiritual Cults are the worst. If you haven’t seen the CNN documentary Holy Hell. This is a real nasty cult. Check it our here > HOLY HELL.
Commercial Cults by definition are where the entire organization is set up to enrich only the people at the top and all money flows upwards to them. Volunteers work for free instead of getting paid, or they work for a fraction of their true market value. Seminar attendees pay for an endless series of products, books, tapes, seminars and never seem to get anywhere. People are manipulated to buy products they don’t want. Complaints are stifled, abuse is rampant. People cannot speak up for fear of punishment. Sexual misconduct is rampant. The leaders say one thing and do another. They can never be held to account for their broken promises because they dominate everyone. This does sound like Dr. Linsell’s management style.

Goldzone couldn’t be more different. With the exception of services, everything is given away to the public for free. No books for sale. No audios and no videos. Everything is available for free at Renaissance for Leaders. All employees are paid at above market rates, and all partners and licensees are encouraged to do the same. Unfortunately, Dr. Linsell ran his business differently. Employees were paid late, if at all, Superannuation and Taxes were not paid. On the other hand, shareholder funds were used to fly himself to Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Hawaii.

It is worth noting that if you are interested in improving your business, professional or personal results or effectiveness and you attend a seminar that is motivational, success oriented and includes lots of leadership content, perhaps there are emotional highs involved – does not necessarily make it a cult.

I don’t think Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. was a Commercial Cult. I may be wrong because many of the above characteristics fit the well-documented conduct of Dr. Malcolm Linsell. For example, a couple did complain that Dr. Linsell enrolled them in a seminar and threatened to “break their arms if they didn’t do it.” He did borrow money from his friends and never pay most of them back. He also borrowed money personally from Company Clients and never paid them back either.

Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. licensed intellectual property from Goldzone Corporation, a US based corporation. Perhaps Goldzone Corporation is a Commercial Cult?

According to the Australian Leadership Centre Pty. Ltd. Project Synopsys, the Company planned to develop 5 Full-Service Leadership Centres based on the Goldzone Corporation’s model. This means that the local Australian Centers where to duplicate the Goldzone systems, policies, and standard operating procedures.
